The Women’s Empowerment Principles are a set of practices for business offering guidance on how to apply practices for enhancing gender equality.
Upon signing the document, Jean-Michel LANG said: “By signing the WEPs, we definitively engaging our organization on a new route. This act will accelerate the culture change needed to achieve our results.” He concludes stating that “we are then committed to building a future full of opportunities for everyone.”
The document was signed during the Diversity and Leadership Workshop, sponsored by VINCI Energies in Brazil and organized by ICC France-Brazil. In addition to the participants, Adriana CARVALHO, UN Women’s manager and Jaqueline SAAD, executive director of ICCFB-RJ were present at the signing ceremony.
