Omexom delivers another Generating Unit for Enel Green Power’s project of automating small hydropower plants

In September, Omexom delivered another Generating Unit for Enel Green Power’s project of automating small hydropower plants.

The 1.8 MW SHP Taguatinga is located in the state of Tocantins. It returned to its commercial operation after having its automation system revitalized, now with new supervisory systems developed by Omexom, with the possibility of remote operation.

We also delivered three other generating units delivered in July for SHP Mourão (8.2MW) in the state of Paraná. In addition to new auxiliary and automation system, the power plant now uses completely new panels for Protection, Control and Regulation, provided by Omexom.

Omexom completed an important stage of the project with the conclusion of the commissioning of two SHP of different scopes: one with the integral replacement of Protection and Control panels and one with adapted panels and a new supervisory system.

For this same project, Omexom performed the assembly of two new systems in SHP Pary (São Paulo) and assigned a team for the hydroelectric power plants Paranapanema (São Paulo) and Alto Araguaia (Mato Grosso). With the goal of automatizing 14 power plants and 44 generating units, Omexom also has an engineering project under development for all the remaining plants, with the major part already in manufacturing process.

Omexom, as a systems integrator, considers the individual needs of each client before providing the best solution.
